We
all know that our body needs minerals, vitamins and
other nutrient to remain in good condition. When the body lacks this, it
becomes hard to function properly and can result to chronic disease. Stress and
a lack
of sleep or improper sleep timing (like sleeping late in the night and waking
late) can cause dark circles. Dark circles are one
of the most common symptoms that your body is not getting enough of what it
requires to function very well.
One
of the
places your body starts to show the side effects of stress is under your eyes,
where your skin is the thinnest in the shape of dark circles. Dark circles can make one look older than their
age. Dark circles can
result due to various factors like fatigue, stress, dehydration, poor
circulation, inflammation, poor genes or melanin accumulation. Getting rid of
dark circles won’t be a problem if you are ready to play by the rules, this
will only take a few basic precautions to mend. Here's what you should do to
get rid of dark circles.
1. First
thing to help you reduce dark circles is to sleep before 11am at night and to ensure
you sleep for 6-8 hours daily.
2. Eat
more fruit and vegetables (you can go on a 3 days fruit diet).
3. Drink
lots of water to help excrete waste from the body.
4. Use a high pillow while sleeping, it may be helpful.
5. Place green tea bags, potatoes slice or sliced cucumber on your eyes for relief.
