Facts about onion



Did you know?  

Onion has antibacterial properties that help the body to fight disease however; it is dangerous to cut an onion open and keep for hours (just like the ones we eat most times with suya) or to be used to cook the next day. 



It becomes highly poisonous for even a single night and creates toxic bacteria which may cause adverse stomach infections because of excess bile secretions and even food poisoning. So get smaller sized onions for one off or use a big one at once.
