Few Tips For A Healthy Living and Lifestyle

Few months ago, I was introduced to a healthier lifestyle of eating natural whole foods. I don’t have a life threatening disease but I am determined to adopt a more nutritional lifestyle as a means of prevention instead of a cure. I feel a compulsion to share at least with you because of a number of close person’s who have died or become ill as a result of chronic disease. I know some of the information below, you already have them but the question is- Are you inculcating them into your lifestyle to remain healthy?

Few tips below………

  • It's okay to put yourself first, especially if it means your health and wellness. Find time for you and your personal goals.

  • Don't quit, stay fit.

  • Add locust beans (ugba, iru) to your cooking. All for nutrition.

  • Take 4-5 liters of water daily.

  • Three great component of whole grain your diet must have includes Fiber, Vitamin E and Vitamin B complex. They are all part of the whole gain family (Wheat, corn, brown rice (Ofada/Abakaliki), unrefined oat, nut, some vegetables and fruits, potatoes with the skin etc.

  • Trial will come but you MUST remain strong as GOD only gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers. #Remainfocused.

  • Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

  • Vitamin B12 improves sperm quality. It may also help boost the endometrium lining in egg fertilization, decreasing the chance of miscarriage. Get Vitamin 12 from eggs, liver, fish n fish eggs, crab to mention a few.

  • Babies and younger children can become ill during very hot weather. Their health can be seriously affected, so please keep them hydrated, away from direct sunlight and give them a cool bath before bedtime.

  • Why not start a new habit today by eating the seeds in your fruit for a better health (orange seed, pawpaw seed, watermelon seed) to mention a few.

  • Let’s fight cancer together with leek, garlic, onion, green leafy vegetables, yellow and red vegetables and fruits, whole grain and soy products.
