How to Treat BV Infection- Bacterial Vaginosis

Infections are caused by tiny living organisms that get into the body and start to multiply. Some of these organisms are harmless and help our bodies to function properly while others cause diseases.

Bacteria are living things that have only one cell. Under a microscope, they look like balls, rods, or spirals. They are so small that a line of 1,000 could fit across a pencil eraser. Most bacteria won't hurt you. Less than 1 percent of the different types make people sick. Many are helpful. Some bacteria help to digest food, destroy disease-causing cells, and give the body needed vitamins.

Bacteria are also used in making healthy foods like yogurt and cheese. But infectious bacteria can make you ill. They reproduce quickly in your body. Many give off chemicals called toxins, which can damage tissue and make you sick.

Note: Antibiotics are the usual treatment. When you take antibiotics, follow the directions carefully. Each time you take antibiotics, you increase the chances that bacteria in your body will learn to resist them. Later, you could get or spread an infection that those antibiotics cannot cure.

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is an infection caused by an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina common in women of childbearing age. Not much is known about what causes BV beyond an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the vagina. While all women are at risk for BV, there are certain behaviors that will increase your risk of contracting an infection. Follow the suggestions below to prevent BV or treat the infection if you've already contracted it.

Reasons Why You Must Have These 12 Food AT Home

These 12 food should be present at all times in your homes. Looking at them from a religious point of view they are filled with lots of health benefit, if only we can follow the rules and have a more fun filling life.

Milk- Is extracted from mammals during or soon after pregnancy and used as food for humans. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest other types of food.

Milk wipes away heat from the heart just as the finger, it strengthens the brain, renews vision and drives away forgetfulness. But the problem now is getting the milk your body desires.

Honey- Is nature's energy booster; it is a great immunity system builder. The glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy. When next you are going for a workout, take a spoon of honey to enable you go for the extra mile.

Honey is considered one, if not the best remedy for diarrhea and other ailment. It is extremely beneficial in the morning, when mixed in warm water and taken. The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: honey is a remedy for every illness and the Quran is a remedy for all illness of the mind (Bukhari).

Fig- Is believed to be indigenous to western Asia and to have been distributed by man throughout the Mediterranean area.

The prophet (PBUH) mentioned figs and stated, if I had to mention a fruit that descended from paradise, I would say this is it because the paradisiacal fruits do not have pits. Eat from this fruit they help prevent hemorrhoids, piles and help gout.
Dates- According to a modern medical survey, it is now accepted that dates are useful in preventing abdominal cancer. They are rich in several vitamins, minerals and fiber too. These delicious fruits contain oil, calcium, sulfur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium which are all beneficial for health.

The prophet (PBUH) said “whoever takes seven ‘Ajwa dates in the morning will not be effected by magic or poison on that day.” He said: A house without dates has no food. (Bukhari)

Barley- Is a wonderfully versatile cereal grain with a rich nutlike flavor and an appealing chewy, pasta-like consistency. Its appearance resembles wheat berries, although it is slightly lighter in color. It is used in soups and stews, and in barley bread of various cultures. Barley grains are commonly made into malt in a traditional and ancient method of preparation.

The prophet (PBUH) said when cooked, as in soup- can help in fever condition.

Water melon- Provides a high amount of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for a low amount of calories. There are five common types of watermelon: seeded, seedless, mini (also known as personal), yellow and orange.

For pregnant women, this is especially for you. None of you women who are pregnant and eat of water melon will fail to produce off spring that is good in countenance and good in character. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Grapes- It may surprise you to hear that the humble grape is actually considered to be a berry. Seventy-two million tons of these berries are grown each year worldwide, with most of them being used to produce wine - 7.2 trillion gallons of wine per year, to be exact.

The prophet (PBUH) was very fond of grapes and he said it purifies the blood, provides vigor and health, strengthens the kidneys and clears the bowels.

Mushroom- Often grouped with vegetables, mushrooms provide many of the nutritional attributes of produce, as well as attributes more commonly found in meat, beans or grains. Mushrooms are low in calories, fat-free, cholesterol-free, gluten-free, and very low in sodium, yet they provide important nutrients, including selenium, potassium, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin D and more.

The prophet (PBUH) said, it is a good cure for the eyes.

Pomegranates- Is one of the oldest known fruits, found in writings and artifacts of many cultures and religions; the pomegranate (punica granatum) is an original native of Persia. This nutrient dense, antioxidant rich fruit has been revered as a symbol of health, fertility and eternal life. A compound found only in pomegranates called punicalagin is shown to benefit the heart and blood vessels.

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said it cleans you of shaytaan and evil aspirations for 40 days.

Vinegar- Is a product of fermentation. This is a process in which sugars in a food are broken down by bacteria and yeast. In the first stage of fermentation, the sugars are turned into alcohol. Then, if the alcohol ferments further, you get vinegar. It has been used for many purposes: killing weeds, cleaning coffee makers, polishing, and dressing salads. It's also an ancient folk remedy, touted to relieve just about any ailment you can think of.

This is one food prophet Muhammad (PBUH) eats with olive oil even though it has become old fashioned, especially in the elite restaurants.

Olive oil-  The main type of fat found in all kinds of olive oil is monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs). MUFAs are actually considered a healthy dietary fat. Olive oil is pressed from fresh olives. It's mainly made in the Mediterranean, primarily in Italy, Spain and Greece (though countries such as America and Australia also produce it).

Olive oil is assessed on three criteria - fruitiness, bitterness and pepperiness. It has effect against so many diseases. It is an excellent treatment for skin and hair, delays old age, and treats inflammation of the stomach.

Water- Is vital to a productive and growing economy. It is odorless, nearly colorless and tasteless. Many of the products that you use every day contain it or were manufactured using it. All forms of life needs it, and if they don't get enough of it, they die. Political disputes have centered on it. In some places, it's treasured and incredibly difficult to get. In others, it's incredibly easy to get and then squandered.

The prophet (PBUH) said the best drink in this world is water and when you are thirsty, drink it by sips and not by gulps, gulping produces sickness of the liver.
So for the wise, please include these foods in your diet as God has blessed us with many good foods.

PBUH-Peace and blessings of Allah (God) be upon him.

Fruits- What You Should Know

Eat fruit in an empty stomach or before meals! People complain, "Every time I eat watermelon I burp; when I eat apples, my stomach bloats up; when I eat a banana, I feel like running to the toilet, etc ” This will not arise if you eat the fruit in an empty stomach. Fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas, hence you will bloat!

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. Master the correct way of eating fruits, and you will have beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

Drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
