The doctor in Lagos
who treated Liberian victim Patrick Sawyer of Ebola, has now contracted the
virus – making it the second confirmed case in Lagos State.
According to the
Health Minister Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu: “This new case is one of the
doctors who attended to the Liberian Ebola patient who died.” The minister also

virus “but it is not certain yet if they have the disease.”
He also said that 8
out of the 70 people established to have had contact with the late Liberian are
now being quarantined.
The minister further
revealed the plans of the federal government to constitute a team to find the
cure for Ebola.
