12 Easy Ways To Lose Weight with little exercise and dieting



-Eating more fruits and vegetables: Making fruits and vegetables a large part of your meal would not only help your body fight chronic diseases but will aid weight lose. Especially fiber and water as they help fill you up.

-Eat more at home, using smaller dishes: Eat home cooked meals at least five days a week, most fast foods are quick meals and are notoriously fattening and as a result, one can gain more weight. Using smaller dishes to automatically eat less, most people serve more and eat more food with larger dishes.

-Chew longer with the right food portions: Chewing your food longer, will give support to slow eating. The slower you eat the less food you consume. When you eat in a hurry, your stomach doesn't have time to tell your brain it's full. One of the habits of slim people is that they stick with modest food portions at every meal, five days a week or more. Make it a habit, starting with snacks.

-The more soup, the less weight: Adding just soup to your daily meal, will help you fill up on lower calories. Instead of the usual soup and Semo, Amala, Eba etc, just take only the Soup with low sodium.


-Eat more whole grain: whole grain such as our local rice (Ofada/Abakaliki), wheat, and oat should belong in your healthy weight loss strategy. They can also help improve your cholesterol level.
-The more you sleep, the better for your weight: Aside having 6-8 hours of good sleep at night, other idle time could be for sleeping to help replace the usual mindless snacking. This result may vary for each person.

-Buy smaller size clothes: The more you eye the smaller size clothes you have, the more chance you have to lose that weight. Put them where you can see them often.

-Skip the Beef, even in your Pizza: Eat beef, but more of fish like Salmon, Sardine or mackerel and vegetables instead. Vegetarians tend to weigh less than meat eaters.

-Use a Tall, Thin Glass: Use a tall, skinny glass instead of a short, wide tumbler to cut liquid calories, and your weight without dieting.

-Go for Green Tea: Drinking green tea may also be a good weight loss strategy. At the very least, you'll get a refreshing drink without tons of calories.

-Cut down on sugar and Alcohol: Replace one sugary drink with water and you'll avoid about 10 teaspoons of sugar. Add lemon or mint for flavor. At any occasion where you have alcohol and non alcohol, your first drink should be a non alcoholic, low-calorie beverage. Alcohol has more calories per gram (7) than carbohydrates (4) or protein (4).

-Chew Strong Mint Gum: Chew sugarless gum with a strong flavor when you're at risk for a snack attack (socializing at a party, watching TV, or surfing the Internet can sometimes be of the dangerous scenarios for mindless snacking). Gum with a big flavor punch overpowers other foods so they don't taste good.
